The Story of Jay

A short video showing the story of Jay and his journey involving exploitation and grooming. Created by young people with the NSPCC and CEOP.

Claire Thought She Knew

This film follows Claire, a teenage girl who begins a relationship with a man she has met online. Together they explore their sexuality via IM and webcam. Eventually they decide to meet up offline however the man is very different in real life. This film informs young people of some of the possible risks of social networking and chat sites and helps to understanding ways that they can keep themselves safe online. My Dangerous Loverboy

My Dangerous Loverboy is a pioneering campaign from Eyes Open Creative aiming to raise awareness of the sexual exploitation and trafficking of young people. Using the acclaimed My Dangerous Loverboy short film alongside the Love or Lies Education Resource, this campaign aims to open up people’s eyes to the harsh realities of sexual exploitation. 2 minute video that highlights that CSE grooming and sexual exploitation of boys and young men. This can be used by with Young people direct or professionals as part of training.

A website that explains the most common platforms of social media used by young people and then reviews them looking at key areas such as reporting and privacy.

Safer Internet Centre

A website that has sections for Young People, parents and professionals on e-safety tips, advice and resources to help children and young people stay safe on the internet.

A short (1minute), amusing video that demonstrates the amount and range of people that social media platforms and online activity can expose young people to.
