Children and Young People who present with Harmful Sexual Behaviour

The Assessment and Treatment Service (ATS) are a specialist team in West Sussex working with children and young people who engage in Harmful Sexual Behaviour (HSB) to others.
This one day course is designed for professionals working with children and young people (under 18) across a range of contexts and will involve both interactive and group-based exercises to promote a multi-agency response to supporting children who engage in Harmful Sexual Behaviour.

The course is designed for social care, IPEH, police, health and education colleagues. This course is not appropriate for foster carers or residential staff. There is a separate training course for residential staff.

IMPORTANT NOTICE:

Children’s residential staff should not book onto this course as bespoke workshops are currently being planned to cover this safeguarding topic.

NEGLECT CONFERENCE – SAVE THE DATE!

The day will look at how aspects of neglect have been involved in recent Learning Reviews and Serious Case Reviews across our localities. Each area’s implementation of interventions and local strategies to reduce the potential risks for our children and young people will also be explored.
